The familiarity of the gun violence that claims so many of the men and boys in our community is numbing . It shouldn't be something we're all use too. They are often victims to an invisible instigator and more often than none have much in common with the ones they call enemies.

It's important for our black men to learn to unite with their brothers. As this is how your community can thrive. Instead, you are becoming the reason for your communities demise by not seeing yourself within the person you aim your aggression towards.

It's a little too familiar to hear of the death of our young black men by way of gun. Whether it be by law enforcement or their own brothers , our black men die at an alarmingly high rate. So we still have to deal with unnecessary deaths everyday. Deaths that really could have been avoided with understanding and communication.

It stems from a lack of knowledge of self and lack of self love within the black community. Black on black crime is the most ridiculous form of violence to me. Simply because 9 times out of 10 the shooter can directly relate to the struggle of the man on the other side of the barrel. In other communities they work together in ours we kill each other to come up.

Instead u can work with each other to gain in the long run. Its like the saying, "give a man a fish he eats for the day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a life time". The same applies to fighting and hurting each other over greed, envy, or out of lack of self control. We are all in facing similar issues. I'm praying our men can stop participating in our genocide. Suicide by way of your brother, adding to the regression, and causing yourself to be just as dead as the one you killed if you cannot see that he is you.
