Meet $avageTeee

Meet $avageTeee, Brooklyn, New York-born Native, and current Florida Bird. She's also known and can be found on Instagram by the name TalentlessTyti (lol peep her oxymoron ). $avageTeee and I met back in the year 2012 in which we shared the same class. Introduction to Business at Valencia College East campus. She was pretty laid back, always very stylish, and bright. She connected with so many of us in class. I could tell that she was in it for the long run. We ended up exchanging information to stay connected online.

$avageTeee and I kept in touch online for years. She doesn't use Facebook anymore and is accessible via Instagram, her email SavageTeee92@yahoo.com, and her website at www.whosupnextwithsavageteee.com.

We tried to work together in the past but it just wasn't the time. On a personal note, I’m at the point in my life where I’m realizing life is far too short, we all have great potential, and that we won’t see that in its entirety until we venture out and connect with others. Taking risks is important to achieving success and finding a formula that works.

I decided to leave from under my rock and reach out to fellow creatives. I posted on Instagram inviting like-minded alien’s, creatives, black sheep’s, influencers, and the likes to a meetup. Either those looking to book, hang out, collaborate or create. I tagged $avageTeee and a few others. She responded! Full of positive energy.

An interesting point I must add is that the Law of Attraction and the Art of Manifestation works tremendously fast! Especially when you are focused on gratitude for the things we have and the positive aspects of our life.

4/20/19 I visited Myrtle Beach with some amazing ladies to celebrate the full/new moon and to purge ourselves of any negative and limiting thoughts and beliefs. Time was spent manifesting that which we want in life that brings us joy.

The following morning I texted $avageTeee something along the lines of ”Hey Mami, tryna shoot?!” lol. She responded saying she had a dream about me taking photos of her! Definitely, not a coincidence. She knows what she wants and I the same. The Universe hooked it up. Lol

We spent the ENTIRE DAY in downtown Winter Park and downtown Orlando. Snapping photos of her was so fun! Mainly because she's natural and doesn't require many directions. So all you photographers out there that want to collaborate with her, you BETTER bring your A game because she's definitely bringing hers. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for me, it wasn't hard to capture her light. So it was a great mix that I'm grateful to have experienced. The vibe was laid back and chill. The way creating should be. And she took care of me all day (memories of Jameson Irish Whiskey and a cone rolled paper of that good Oregano! Lol) 😋 Thanks Mami!

Check out our footage from that day.

She said it best on one of her captions that we went above and beyond! The attention she attracted while in the streets was phenomenal! People gravitated to her light and beauty. To me, the most beautiful part of her is her humility. And please don't get this statement twisted. She KNOWS she is great, she KNOWS she is amazing, and she KNOWS she’s got IT. But to remain humble and modest knowing that isn't easy. I believe it's God in her. Don’t take that ish as a weakness though! I'll reiterate, she's known by the name $avageTeee. Lol, meet the darkness or the light, it is up to you.😂

In the industry of music, arts, lights, camera and action I have found it a little challenging to find genuine humility. Especially in people who are universally beautiful. It goes to their head, ego comes into play, and then it's just a mess to be around.

$avageTeee isn't like that at ALL and she's one of those universally beautiful people. Every culture can see a part of themselves in her beauty. She's a breath of fresh air and her light is like a superpower. ”With great power comes great responsibility” and no this isn't Spiderman but in my eyes, she's a superhero for being this way. The very gift I speak of will be the reason why her success will score higher than anyone can ever imagine.

I don't even feel the need to say stay humble because she's already been blessed with the responsibility because the most high energy God the Universe knows she will do right by her gifts.

Thanks, $avageTeee for passing through my site Ribelu.com ”Home of the Black Sheep” and blessing me as such a great muse for the content we've created together.

Read the results of her unstructured interview organized by myself below.

$avageTeee: lol kinda different being on the interviewee side but here we go!

$avageTeee: lol, thanks I get that and I look Asian quite often. but My Father was Jamaican, My Mother is Black, Indian and there some other mixed in there
Chriss Eon: When did you begin to piece together that you had a love for the performing arts, music, media, etc?
$avageTeee: honestly, since I was a kid. it was always in me to be a music producer. that was the dream. In private school we'd have these performing arts competition all over Florida that we'd practice for all the time, idk I always got a kick out of it. we even won a few competitions. but music in general always got me through things, my older brother is a rapper and he'd always put me on to new music, I remember my mom would always bring us back mixtapes from her trips to new york and burn copies for us.

Chriss Eon: Have you been burned/hurt taken advantage of in the field of this industry?
$avageTeee: I can be a bit naive, but you learn ya know.
Chriss Eon: What gives you the strength to move forward despite it all?
$avageTeee: the daily encounters of talented people, if I could just put a new person on to an up and coming artist, then that's a new set of ears to their music
Chriss Eon: Why do you get up and do the work you do?
$avageTeee: my blog has been one of my goals for a while now, idk just knowing that this started as just an idea while sleeping on my homie couch and now it actually turning into something. Like this is really mine so I gotta see it out
Chriss Eon: Do you plan to help others with your work? If so how?
$avageTeee: yeah, of course. my blog isn't for personal use although, I do get a kick outta finding new artists, spreading the word is where the work really gets out.
Chriss Eon: What is advice you would give your younger self or anyone looking to embark on the journey you have started?
